The NMR data confirm that the cyclobutane linkage is formed between the bonds thymine C6-C5 and adenine C5-C6. The 2D NOE data are used as constraints in a distance geometry …
Webb29 dec. 2004 · Our study shows that NMR merely probes the presence/absence of the methyl group in thymine/uracil, without any relation to the strength of the hydrogen bonds involved. In other words, one cannot infer the Watson-Crick hydrogen-bond strength from the NMR shielding constant of adenine C2. Webb4 jan. 2024 · The thymine- and adenine-derived ethyl esters 2 and 6 were isolated as solids in 86% and 92% yields respectively. Hydrazinolysis of the ethyl esters 2 and 6 in refluxing ethanol overnight furnished the nucleobase hydrazides 3 and 7 in excellent yields of 86% and 99% yields respectively.
Webb13 apr. 2015 · Mercury-199 NMR spectroscopy is used to probe coordination modes, coordinating elements, and the nature of metals in biomolecules. 1 Within the 199 Hg NMR data, those for N–Hg bonds are of particular importance as metals in proteins and in DNA/RNA molecules frequently interact with nitrogen atoms. herman duneWebbThe melting temperature value ( Tm ), which is a measure of the binding affinity between the oligonucleotide and its target sequence, shows that 2- O -methylthymine can form a much “better” base pair with guanine than adenine, with the Tm values of DNAs containing these base pairs differing by 13.7 °C. herman dwi yulianto githubWebb13 juni 2005 · Description.
