WebbI mean, alcohol is safe to use to clean PC components. I use it and q-tips on certain hard to reach places with stubborn dust . BUT, for the most part canned air and/or a vacuum cleaner will do a better and faster job. If you choose to use rubbing alcohol I suggest as high % as you can find. Out of an abundance of caution I’d use 90% minimum.

WebbI've slightly damaged SNES labels with Alcohol. But a good way to do it is to get a paper towel wet with alcohol and lightly rub the label. NES labels do tend to be a bit more resilient though.
