The system starts and runs flawlessly for varying amounts of time and then will start to cut out. WebJun 20, 2024 · If you are 165 degrees, I would confirm your thermostat. EDIT - Bingo is correct. Temp sender sent by FITECH is wrong, 20 degrees off. Replace it with a quality one. Your temp will come up 15 - 20 degrees, and then the FITECH will go into self-learn mode. This is a common thing, we all have done this. Tuning at first start is not a good idea. It shouldn't die. Most likely you are not getting a good +12V to the unit. The ECU doesn't respond well to a weak electrical system.
