It does little damage, and the lifesteal everyone loves is terrible. it only heals 1 hp per hit, and you have to be super accurate with them because they have short range. also, it seems like when using it in close combat, i lose more hp than i gain hp from it.

Crimson background may be bloody and fleshy but if you look carefully, the corruption background is darker. I do think Terraria is supposed to be evil in a way.
